“ John W. Roach, age 81 years, died at 11:20 P.M., Friday, April 22, 1988, in Bay Medical Center following a lingering illness. Mr. Roach was born October 9, 1906 in Ontario, Canada, and resided in Bay City most of his life. Before his retirement, he was employed by General Motors CPC (Bay City) for 32 years. John was a member of St. Joseph Church and the Muskrat Club. Surviving family members include his wife, the former Beatrice Bowen; three children, Beatrice Tilley, William Roach and Wayne Roach, all of Bay City. 24 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Joan. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 am in the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel with Mass following at 11:00 am in St. Joseph Church. Rev. John P. McAndrew will officiate with entombment in St. Patrick Mausoleum. Members of St. Anne’s Society will pray the Rosary at 2:00 pm Monday in the Trahan Chapel. Wake services will be Monday at 8:30 pm. Friends may call Sunday from 3:00 to 9:00 pm and Monday from 1:00 to 9:00 pm at W. A. Trahan Chapel. “8635,8634
