Questions/Errors notes for Marie Modeste (Spouse 1)
Two of the baptismal records for Marie Modeste Borda differ as to her birth date, but both agree that she was baptized on 17 July 1772. One record9309,9304 states that she was born on 24 January 1772 while the other9240,9305 indicates that she was born on 24 July 1772. Apparently the second document has a typographical error of “July” rather “January” since Marie Modeste Borda could not have been born after she was baptized. It appears the typographical error is in the transcription of the original record by Rev. Donald J. Hébert. The correct birth date for Marie Modeste Borda should be 24 January 1772,
