Daryl LaBine appears to have placed the family of Celestin Jedrey under two different sets of parents. In one location13748 in his work he has Celestin Honoré Guédry and Séraphie Maillet with their four children under the family of Augustin Guildry and Angéle Saulnier. In another location13800 in his work he has Celestin Simple Guidry and Séraphie Dorothée Mayer with their five children under the family of Hermal Pierre Guidry and Marie Anne Belleveau. Four of the children in these two fam ilies of Celestin Guedry (Guidry) had the same names and very similar birth dates. The wives of the two Celestin Guedry’s (Guidry’s) had almost the same name. It seems almost certain that they are the same families. Interestingly, the same person (reference source) provided the information for both families. Also, the information for these two families agrees remarkably well with the Celestin Simple Jedrey family appearing in the work13875 of Bernard Geddry. Note also that I can find no evidence (other than the brief mention by Daryl LaBine) that Augustin Guildry married Angéle Saulnier as a second wife. The only marriage that I have been able to identify for Augustin is that to Marie Jeanson. I strongly believe that both of the above families are the same and that Celestin was Celestin Simple Jedrey, son of Hermat-Pierre Gedree and Marie Ann Bellivaux.
